From the mountain vineyards of McGregor, the 2023 McGregor Cabernet Sauvignon is crafted from hand-selected small grapes, ensuring deep concentration and complexity. Aged for 12-16 months in French oak (60% new oak), this full-bodied red offers layers of blackcurrant, cassis, and dark cherry with velvety tannins.
Slow oxidation through tight-grain barrels enhances its structure, resulting in a smooth yet powerful finish. Ideal for pairing with braised short ribs, mushroom and tomato stew, or creamy polenta.
